Reimagining the Lithium-ion Battery with Silicon

Ionblox achieved this step change in performance by replacing the graphite used in the anode with ultra-high capacity silicon monoxide. We also infuse our anodes with a patented range of supplemental lithium to boost performance. Meanwhile, our nano-engineered solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) layer and cutting-edge cell architecture increase conductivity and ensure high cycle life with minimal capacity loss, even with extreme fast charging.
